CONCORD — Chief Thomas Judge wishes to take a moment, on behalf of the Concord Fire Department, to acknowledge members who served in the United States Armed Forces. Their service and sacrifice is honored on this Veterans Day weekend and also on each and every other day in which our citizens enjoy the freedoms and benefits of their service.
On Friday, Nov. 10, the U.S. Marine Corps turns 248 years old, and on the eve of Veteran’s Day, the Concord Fire Department acknowledges:
- Firefighter Byrnes, Keegan — United States Navy
- Captain Ferrie, Bradford D. — United States Air Force
- Firefighter Jackson, Marcus E. – United States Army
- Captain Murphy, Sean P. — United States Marine Corps
- Lieutenant Pelkey, Eric M. — United States Air Force
Thank you for your service and what you do for our community every day
