CONCORD — Police Chief Thomas Mulcahy and Fire Chief Tom Judge report that the Concord Police and Fire Departments responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Commonwealth Avenue Friday morning.
On Friday, Feb. 3 at 7:34 a.m., Concord Police and Fire responded to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian on Commonwealth Avenue by Bradford Street.
Responding officers discovered a 12-year-old girl suffering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street.
The juvenile was immediately treated at the scene by Concord EMS and then transported by medical helicopter to a Boston-area hospital.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The crash remains under investigation by the Concord Police Department.
